How does it help students?
The Challenge is a great opportunity for students to gain practical, real world marketing experience. Students also get the excitement of competing on a national level, with the overall winners receiving a contract paid marketing job working on projects for BIG (Business Investors Group) and $1000 cash.
How does it work?
Students are to create an effective marketing campaign for Unijobs.com.au. They will outline a marketing plan, action one of the activities and report on the results. Provide the business with recommendations to further develop their marketing. This plan will be done with the use of the marketing theories and concepts that they have been taught through their time in study but more so their application in the real world. They will need to use their own creativity as well as do research and show the results of this research.
Who can enter?
The Challenge is open to any marketing student from any higher education institution in Australia. Submissions are now open until 30th November 2010.
Submissions must be received by no later than 5pm on 30th November, 2009 by using the Submit link above.
How is it judged?
The submission will be reviewed by a judging panel made up of representatives from Unijobs.com.au, Unijobs.co.nz and the Business Investors Group.
The final judging criteria will be based on:
- Research and creativity
- Use of marketing theory and concepts
- Applicability to the real world
- Results of the marketing activity
The winner will be announced by 5pm on Friday 18th December and published on the Business Investors Group website and notified by telephone.
